Welcome! I’m Margaret, a professional cellist and educator with decades of experience performing and teaching across the United States and the United Kingdom. As a tenured member of the Austin Symphony Orchestra, I bring the depth of a lifelong performing career to my work with students.
I teach using my signature framework, Individually Responsive Pedagogy™, an approach in which each lesson is carefully shaped around the individual student. This allows students to develop strong technical skills, artistic confidence, and a meaningful, lasting relationship with music.
